Accreditations

The University of Mount Olive is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (www.sacscoc.org) to award the associate, baccalaureate, and masters degrees. The undergraduate programs in the Tillman School of Business are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), 7007 College Blvd. Suite 420 Overland Park, KS 66211, (913) 339-9366. The Human Resource Management program is endorsed by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The Healthcare Management program is a member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).  The Tillman School of Business is pursuing accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for the MBA program, in accordance with prescribed ACBSP accreditation processes for new programs.

The RN to BSN is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One DuPont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC  20036, (202) 887-6791.

To assure the MSN program meets the rigorous requirements for today's nursing professionals, the University of Mount Olive MSN program is preparing for CCNE programmatic accreditation.  Our initial programmatic accreditation visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is scheduled for September 2017.

The MEd program is approved by the North Carolina State Board of Education.
