Fri: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sat: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sun: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Group Fitness Classes

We offer many group fitness classes, including:

  • Spin classes
  • Circuit training classes
  • Yoga classes
  • Intense fitness classes
  • Rejuvenation classes
  • Kettlebell training classes
  • Cross training classes
  • Zumba® classes
  • And more

Whatever you’re looking for, we’re sure to offer a class to fit your needs. Classes last 30-60 minutes and vary in intensity. Students will receive a monthly schedule of classes offered — what’s more, classes are included in their membership, so there is no extra fee!

 

Free Body Fat Checks

Students can schedule free body fat checks every month on the last Wednesday of the month. Checking your body fat will help keep you focused on your goals and assist you in achieving them in a timely manner.

 

Free Exercise Prescriptions

The Wellness Center staff is dedicated to helping our students maintain a healthier lifestyle. We offer to write an exercise prescription for any student that needs direction in their workout. This is a free service.

 

Basketball Court

Pope Wellness Center has a full-size basketball court with six hoops. This is a popular spot for students to shoot hoops or put together a 3-on-3 game.

 

Cardio and Weight Training

Our Mount Olive, NC fitness center offers six elliptical, six treadmills, three recumbent bikes and two rowers to satisfy anyone's cardio needs. Each piece of cardio equipment has its own television with the exception of the rowers. For our spin class, we have 12 spin bikes available for use during class and outside of class. As far as weight training, we offer two platforms fully loaded with barbells, bumbers, and power racks. In addition, we have a full line of plate-loaded Hammer Strength and pin-loaded Body Masters strength training equipment. We also have a variety of core strengthening equipment.
