What is CAB?

CAB is the University of Mount Olive Campus Activities Board. Any student at the University of Mount Olive can join. CAB is responsible for assisting with program events that happen on campus. Events can range from musicians to comedians, poets to speakers, or our popular Campus Rec Night and Campus Trivia Night.

Every student who attends the University of Mount Olive pays a small student activities fee. This fee allows CAB to bring in entertainment and provides students the opportunity to interact outside of the classroom. CAB members help decide which events come to the University of Mount Olive, design event flyers, and assist in event preparation. If you are interested in deciding what happens on our campus, join CAB today!

How Can I Get Involved?

It’s simple! CAB meets every Monday night at 8 p.m. in the Best Meeting Room in the Murphy Regional Center. Meetings last no longer than 30 minutes. New members are welcome at any time, so it’s never too late to get involved!

The University of Mount Olive offers a variety of activities, organizations and resources for our students. We are a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values. The University, sponsored by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists, has locations in Mount Olive, New Bern, Wilmington, Goldsboro, Research Triangle Park, Washington and Jacksonville.
