The Henderson Science Club at University of Mount Olive recently presented a check for $300 to the Boys and Girls Club of Mount Olive. The money was collected as part of a spring fundraiser initiated by the Henderson Science Club.
"I would like to personally thank the Mount Olive community for their support on this incredibly important fundraiser," said Holly Capps, president of Henderson Science Club. "It was a rewarding experience to help others who are not as fortunate as some of us have been. The Boys and Girls Club has a long history of helping young students in the area by providing not only role models for our youth, but a safe place to go after school and work on their education."
